CHEM-GARD CGV Thermoplastic Pump with Vortex Pump Head for Fluids Containing Solids

CHEM-GARD® CGV

Thermoplastic Vortex Pump Heads Handle Solids-laden Liquids and Slurries

  • Temps to 275°F (135°C)
  • Construction: PP, PVC, PVDF, ECTFE

NOTE: Flows and dynamic head pressures of CGV pump heads are dependent on characteristics of the fluid being handled. Please consult factory regarding your application.

CHEM-GARD® CG, CGA and CGC models are offered with vortex pump heads for clog-free pumping of slurries containing solids to 2 in. (51 mm) in diameter, as well as liquids containing stringy materials.

Vortex impellers are recessed, dynamically balanced, and custom sized and trimmed to suit the shapes, dimensions and physical properties of included solids.

Impellers, casings and all other fluid contact components are injection molded of solid, homogeneous polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE)- chemically inert thermoplastics that eliminate corrosion of the pump and contamination of the fluid.

The wet end is comprised of solid, thick-sectioned, stand-alone components (unlike plastic linings), that are easily replaced, maximizing uptime while minimizing cost.
